Traffic Offenses

Traffic and petty offenses are punishable by a fine not to exceed $1,000. If you are accused of a traffic or petty offense, you have the right to a trial before a judge, or may choose to pursue a plea agreement. Whether you choose to seek a plea agreement or proceed to trial, my office will zealously defend your case. 

It is very common for traffic offenses to be resolved with a period of Court Supervision.  If you receive Court Supervision for a Traffic or Petty Offense, the disposition will not result in a conviction being placed upon your driving record - this preserves your driving privileges.
